Finally!
Miami is getting a proper documentary about the beginnings of the Miami Bass Sound. The 80′s and early 90′s were a special time down in South Florida when Miami embraced that 808 kick drum that we have all grown to live and love. I personally can’t wait for the release of this one so stay tuned and check out the trailers!
Kraftwerk had a 3D performance in October of this year. I am still waiting and hoping the day comes when I can see them live.
Richie Hawtin‘s alter-ego Plastikman will embark on a full live tour in late-2011 in a upgraded ’1.5 format’ - one of the only live shows around where all aspects of the performance – music, lighting, audio, visuals and real-time audience interaction via the SYNK App – are controlled by a single on-stage performer. Hawtin and his team have incorporated new Plastikman music, visuals and interactive technologies. Plastikman Live will be interactive for any fans with Hawtin’s free SYNK iPhone application, which feature live chat, a live behind-the-curtain camera feed and more interactive elements. “These dates will represent the last opportunities for fans to catch Plastikman Live in its current form,” says Hawtin, “the 1.5 version of the show we’ve spent nearly a year of fine-tuning. After that, Plastikman will be returning to the shadows to begin work on a brand new 2.0 concept.”
Just got the new EP coming out from Wreck. I’m talking straight Miami Bass from the Bottom. The EP is called “Rim my Bass”. Google it and purchase it from anywhere you can find it. If you are into that boys from the bottom Bass you will not be disappointed, Trust me! Pure Fire & Bass heavy!
New track from The Game ft. Lil Wayne called “Red Nation“. Usually I don’t post stuff like this but found the Kernkraft “Zombie Nation” kind of interesting especially after that Akon song featuring Ludacris that samples the Blade techno song that came out not to long ago. I’m wondering if things are starting to head this way a bit?
